We want everyone to be able to browse SOYO, read about our products, choose a size and order without difficulty, whatever device, browser or assistive technology they use. This page explains what we aim for, what we do, the limits we know about, and how to reach us if something gets in your way.

Our target

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), on every page of this website. We are a small company and we do not claim that every page meets every criterion today. When we learn about a problem, we fix it as quickly as we can.

What we do

• Readable text: body text is large (at least 17 pixels on phones and 18 pixels on computers) with generous line spacing, and you can zoom the page up to 200 percent without losing content or features.
• Contrast: text, prices, links and buttons are designed to meet the WCAG AA contrast ratios against their background, including smaller gray text. We do not place text over busy images.
• Keyboard: every link, button, size choice and menu can be reached and used with a keyboard alone, with a clearly visible focus outline.
• Large targets: buttons, size choices and color links are at least 44 pixels, large enough to tap easily.
• Images: product images have text alternatives that describe the garment and its color. Purely decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
• Colors in words: every color has a written name. Product cards, and the color shown on a product page, name it in text next to the swatch, and every other color link carries its name for screen readers and as a tooltip, so you never have to judge a color by sight alone.
• Clear structure: pages use real headings, lists, tables and labels, and each page declares its language (English or Japanese), so screen readers can move through it and read it correctly.
• Clear messages: if you add a product to your cart without choosing a size, a written message appears next to the size buttons. Nothing depends on color or sound alone.
• Reduced motion: if your device is set to reduce motion, animations are turned off or kept to a minimum. Nothing on the site flashes, and no video or sound plays by itself.
• No time limits: nothing on the site expires while you read, and your cart stays in your browser until you clear it.

Known limits

• Size charts and long tables: on a small screen, a wide table such as the size chart may need to be scrolled sideways inside its box. The same measurements are on our size guide page, and we can send them to you by email as plain text.
• Delivery estimate: the estimated delivery date on product pages is calculated by your browser. If scripts are turned off, the processing and transit times are still written out on our Shipping page.
• Payment pages: online payment is being set up. When it opens, some payment steps may be run by our payment provider. We will choose a provider that works to meet the same accessibility standards, and if you have any trouble with those steps, we will help you by email.
• Links to other websites: we cannot control the accessibility of other companies' websites, such as a carrier's tracking page.

Getting help or ordering another way

If any part of this website is hard to use for you, email us at desireenolwenn971@hotmail.com. Please tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and the device, browser and any assistive technology you use. You can also simply tell us what you would like to buy.

• We can send you the product details, colors, sizes, size chart, prices and our policies by email, in plain text.
• Once online payment opens, we will help you complete your order, for example by preparing it for you and sending you a secure payment link. We will never ask you to send your card number by email.
• Your prices, shipping, returns and every other condition are exactly the same as on the website.

We reply within 2 business days. Business days are Monday to Friday, except US federal holidays.
